Barian is a town in northern Punjab, Pakistan. It is located at 33°57’0N 73°23’0E. The town is linked to the city of Abbottabad by a 71 km road via Nathia Gali, the area is often cut off during bad winter weather, in 2005 heavy snowfall had cut the roads toKhanspur and Changla Gali, and in January 2008 snow and heavy landslides cut off roads.
In addition to riding trails, hiking places, picnic spots and motels, there is achairlift in the central place of Ayubia that takes the tourists to a nearby summit for a view of the forested hills. This chairlift was the first recreation facility of its kind in Pakistan and is still a major attraction for domestic tourists.
Kuldana is the name of an extremely beautiful hill, which spreads over a lush green area of about five square kilometers. The area is densely populated by a large variety of trees and plants and inhabited by various kinds of wild life species specially birds, butterflies and monkeys. At times snow leopards, cheetahs and jackals can also be seen crossing roads and tracks.
The Pearl Continental Bhurban, usually shortened to PC Bhurban, is a member of Pearl Continental Hotel chain in Pakistan. It is located in the town of Bhurban in Murree, which is famous for its scenic beauty. This place is a popular summer resort for the residents of Islamabad and nearby cities. In August 2008 the Punjab government levied a toll on vehicles entering the hotel, this has angered tourists who have harangued the toll collectors. Local politicians have opposed the imposition of the toll including theNazims of Rawat, Numbal and Phagwari.
This place received much media coverage, locally and internationally, when on March 8, 2008 a political agreement was signed by the two political parties Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) here. According to the Bhurban Accord, also known as the Murree Declaration, the two political parties decided to restore the judiciary to pre-Nov 3 position.
Pindi point is one of the prime points to visit in Murree. Chair lifts are installed here which go down 1.5 km. Both way distance is 3 km. Scenary from chair lift is magnificent. Zigzag road passes below. Great pine trees stand throughout the journey. When we go down the valley there is a stop point. You can enjoy a lot there. There is a coffee shop & children play land. Hills of Patriata can be seen there.A great jungle starts there. You can enjoy tracking. Chair lift is open from 9am till 6 pm.
Kashmir Point is on 15 minutes walk from GPO total distance is about 1 km. You will also go through Cadet College Murree which goes from the Murree Residence area. Kashmir Point is a beautiful place you will see here beautiful Kashmir Mountains and lush green trees. It’s the most crowded area of Murree because rush of mall road also comes here to see this beautiful place. Now Kashmir Point is having bazaar with variety of food courts and shopping places
Nathia Gali or Nathiagali is a mountain resort town or hill station in Hazara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is a part of the Galyat range, where several hill-stations are situated, closely connected to each other, and with their names mostly ending in ‘Gali’. Nathiagali is known for its scenic beauty, hiking tracks and pleasant weather, which is much cooler than the rest of the Galyat due to it being at a greater altitude. It is situated 34 kilometers at one hour’s drive away from both Murree and Abbottabad, lying midway between these two places. The drive time from Islamabad is usually about two hours, unless there is a lot of traffic.
The weather of Nathiagali remains cool, pleasant and foggy in Summers (1 May to 31 August). During the Monsoon season (1 July to 16 September), rain is expected almost every day. Cold winds start to chill the weather in Autumn. Winters (1 November to 28 February) are very cold and chilly. In December and January, heavy snowfall occurs here. The weather remains cold in Spring. Here most comfortable weather is the summer season.
