Murree and Galyat

Murree is a mountain resort town, located in the Galyat region of the Pir Panjal Range, within the Rawalpindi District of Punjab, Pakistan. It forms the outskirts of the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area, and is about 30 km northeast of Islamabad. It has average altitude of 2,291 metres.

Ghora Gali

Pindi point is one of the prime points to visit in Murree. Chair lifts are installed here which go down 1.5 km. Both way distance is 3 km. Scenary from chair lift is magnificent.

Kuldana

Kuldana is the name of an extremely beautiful hill, which spreads over a lush green area of about five square kilometers.

Ayubia Chair Lift

In addition to riding trails, hiking places, picnic spots and motels, there is achairlift in the central place of Ayubia that takes the tourists to a nearby summit for a view of the forested hills.

Barian

Chattar Park

The Chattar water park is only 15 minutes outside Islamabad. There is also an alternate but longer route to Murree from Islamabad via Nilore and Simli Dam. The alternate route joins at Lower Topa.
